Brief Introduction of CRCF
The Chinese Red Cross Foundation is a national
public fundraising organization registered via the
Ministry of Civil Affair with the characteristics of
independent corporate, non-profit and
non-government, with the purpose of disseminating
the Red Cross spirit of humanitarianism,
philanthropism and dedication, and with the mission
of improving the conditions of the most vulnerable,
and taking a big eye on and protecting people’s life
and health.
In order to carry out its purpose and mission, the
Chinese Red Cross Foundation detrudes a great model
social public welfare cause called “Red Cross Angel
Program” in the medical treatment and health field
facing peasants in poor countryside and in cities.
The purpose of this project is: to pay more
attention to peasants’ life and health, extensively
mobilize social resources in and out of China; and
to firstly build up “Red Cross Angel Program” to
collect capitals and medical treatment resources in
order to offer medical treatment assistant for
peasants in poor countryside and in cities with
fatal diseases (including contagious diseases, local
diseases and occupational diseases); to assist the
Chinese government to improve local conditions of
medical treatment and sanitation in poor
countryside; to contribute to build “Red Cross Angel
Hospital”; to train medical staffs in countryside in
order to improve their medical treatment capability
and to make the development and sanitation of
medical treatment in countryside becomes more
healthy.
